Analysis For The Present Situation And Problems Of Super Hybrid Rice Research And Promotion In Hunan Province

Super hybird rice possesses the advantage of high yield potential. Developing super hybrid rice have great significance to ensuring food safety and security,increasing the China’s rice production capacity rapidly,increasing farmers income. The history and current situation about the super hybrid rice breeding and spread at home and abroad are summarized.Meanwhile,from the actual situation of super rice in Hunan province, investigated the present situation of super rice, and found the problem, discusses and proposes solutions to problems related countermeasures, to provide a basis for the promotion of super rice smoothly.This study suggests that the research should effort to create new germplasm resources, new materials,bred super hybrid rice combinations with wide adaptation,resistance to diseases and good quality basing on the character of different region,and the simple,low-cost,high-yield technology should be studied, in accordance with the characteristics of different ecology region,achieving good seed matching good methods.The promotion should be based on such principles as:making overall planning, rationalizing distribution, making reasonable selection of plant varieties; strengthening technical training to enhance technical households and public awareness; increasing investment, establishing incentives and sanctions; grasping a good demonstration model; strengthening training leading enterprises, promoting the industrialization of super hybrid rice management; strengthening leadership, and improving the implementation responsibility to improve the implementation in the super hybrid rice promotion.
