It is important to improve the working performance of the rope twisting machine and to improve the quality of the twisting of the rope.Optimized design and experimental study on key components of the seed rope twisting machine were carried out based on theoretical analysis and experimental study under the support of National Subject "863" (paper carrier rope seeding planting technology and devices research, No.2012AA10A501-3). The results and conclusions are as follows:(1) The seed carrier tape pressing device of the seed rope twisting machine was optimized and theoretical analysis of its structure parameters and motion was performed. Experimental results of seed tape pressing device before and after optimization showed that the broken times per kilometers was 3.2 for cylindrical roller and 1 for grooved roller. It can be concluded that grooved roller is better than t cylindrical roller;(2) Seed tape support was designed and analysis of its structural parameters was conducted. The comparison experiments on three supports of different shapes showed that V type support functioned best;(3) The metering tube was optimized and the motion of rice seeds in the tube was analyzed. Single factor experiment of tube outlet of different shape were carried out and the results showed that the seed leakage rate of tilting outlet was 6%and it was half of it for horizontal outlet at 3%, the leakage rate decreased significantly.(4) Tensile strength of tape from non-woven fabric, crepe paper of the same length (10 cm) with different twist (10,15,20) was tested respectively and the results showed that the average broken force were 36.94N at 20 twists and 34.56N at 10 twists for non-woven fabric; it was 44.14N at 20 twists and 35.66N at 10 twists for crepe paper. The tensile strength increases with twisting numbers for nonwoven fabric tape and it decreases with twisting numbers for crepe paper.(5) Experimental study on effect of carrier materials on rice seed emergence and plant height at early stage were carried out compared with direct seeding and the results showed that effect of the materials was significant. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | rice seed rope, seed twisting machine, press roller, tape support, guide tube | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
