| Pollen is the male reproductive cell of flowering plant’s stamen, with all the nutrition and essence gestating new plant life. As the main component of inflorescence, it has been called “Complete nutrition†and “Micro nutrient library†that contains a large number of beneficial ingredients, such as protein and amino acids, sugars, lipids, phenols, flavonoids, vitamin, mineral elements, trace elements and hormones etc, which can well promote the immune function, adjust nerve system, control blood glucose, suppress prostatic hyperplasia and maintain beauty. It is the natural nutrition that is recognized in the world today, whose utility is the combination of a variety of effective constituent. According to a Japanese pollen researcher, any nutritional value of plant foods is difficult to compete with pollen. In addition, consumers are fond of pollen mainly for its products in contemporary society, including pollen medicines, pollen healthy food, pollen feed additive and pollen cosmetics. Apocarya(Carya illinoinensis(Wangenh)K.Koch) is an ecological economic tree species with important value of development and utilization. In the actual production process, flowering phenomenon is not met often, which results in a large number of male inflorescences waste. Studying constituents of apocarya male inflorescence can make full use of inflorescence of apocarya that is wasted in the process of pollination can create a higher economic value, which has certain significance to the development of the comprehensive value of apocarya. This essay analyzed some physiological indexes and nutrients of apocarya inflorescences. The results are as follows:1. The selected two varieties(Mahanã€Weston) of apocarya inflorescences after having increased length and weight first then remain stable in the growth process. In the selected period, the average length of Mahan increased from 11.48 cm to 12.47 cm then slowly grew to 12.56 cm at last, and the average weight increased from 1.84 g to 2.18 g then slightly down to 2.11g; the average length of Weston increased from 9.47 cm to 11.21 cm then remained stable and the average weight increased from 1.38 g to 1.63 g then slightly down to 1.61g2. Inflorescence are rich in nutritious, of which protein content as high as 17.90%, rich in fiber content, low in fat, 17 kinds of amino acids, including seven kinds of essential amino acids have been detected and essential amino acids occupy the proportion of 35.8% ~ 39.1%; also rich in Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Se and other elements, of which K, Ca, Mg content come to the first place.3. Polyphenols content up to 88.54mg/g, which means a strong antioxidant activity and can prevent a variety of chronic diseases and aging, Polysaccharide with a variety of health effects, such as immune regulation, lowering blood sugar, beauty, and its inflorescence polysaccharide content of up to 1.68g/100 g, higher than roses and herbal tea and other plant pollen, which means a good health care food.4. In terms of the inquiry of effectiveness, we only examined its effect on gastric cancer cells in rats, the results show this has little effect, but available data indicate that the efficacy of the pollen is obvious, for pollen as the main component of inflorescence, its other efficacy of the disease is still worth exploring further.5. Taking a cooking processing mode, we found that after the retort processing, elements declined in varying degrees, on the contrary, amino acids increased in varying degrees; polyphenols and flavonoids in boiling treatment groups significantly decreased in difference; and in the steam-treated group, polyphenol significantly increased, flavonoid content had no significant difference with the control group. Contrastly, steam processing method is more conducive to the preservation and absorption of nutrients. |
