Pepper Anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum capsici was a severe disease on pepper. For screening effective fungicides to control Colletotrichum capsici, three fungicides and their combinations were tested their inhibition to Colletotrichum capsici in laboratory using mycelia growth rate method. Results showed that:SYP-14288 and Prochloraz had powerful toxicity with EC50 0.1445 and 0.1479 μg/ml; Prochloraz mixed SYP-14288 with 5:1 and 1:4 showed synergistic effect with co-toxicity index respectively,198 and 355; Prochloraz mixed SYP-14288 with 3:1 and metalaxyl-M mixed SYP-14288 with 1:3 showed additive effect with co-toxicity index respectively,101 and 105.Through the field efficacy,10% Difenoconazole WG 1000 times,45% prochloraz EW 1500 times and 45% SYP-14288 WP 1500 times showed good control effect to Pepper Anthracnose with longer lasting period. After 14d from the second spraying, control efficacy of 10% Difenoconazole WG 1000 times,45% prochloraz EW 1500 times and 45% SYP-14288 WP 1500 times were respectively 86.7%,87.2% and 93.3.2%. Control efficacy of 80% mancozeb WP 600 times and 75% chlorothalonil WP 600 times showed weaker control effect to Pepper Anthracnose than that of 10% Difenoconazole WG 1000 times,45% prochloraz EW 1500 times and 45% SYP-14288 WP 1500 times. However, Control efficacy of 80% mancozeb WP 600 times and 75% chlorothalonil WP 600 times were still close to 80% after 14 d from the second spraying. The results showed the tested fungicides can be used for the prevention and control of pepper anthracnose.
