For evaluating common road green plants drought resistance and salt resistance, this paper studied coefficient, leaf water potential and photosynthetic indexes of 23 different species of ground cover plants through potted drought stress test; studied plant growth conditions and physiological indexes of 18 species of ground cover plants. The following conclusions are obtained:(1)By comparing 23 farming is plant critical wilting coefficient, the drought resistance from strong to weak followed by Sabina vulgaris, Iris lactea var. Chinensis, Sedum aizoon, Belamcanda chinensis, Parthenocissus quinquefoli, Carex lanceolata, Aster novi-belgii, Buxus megistophylla, Buxus sinica, Liriope spicata, Ligustrum×vicaryi, Dianthus chinensis, Euonymus fortunei, Hemerocallis fulva ‘Golden Doll’, Carex leucochlora, Sedum spectabile, Pennisetum alopecuroide, Miacanthus sinensis ‘Gold Bar’, Berberis thunbergii, Veronica didyma, Rudbeckia hirta, Phalaris arundinacea ‘Picta’, Rosa Chinensis.Comparison of drought tolerance is the actual performance and judgment of Carex leucochlora, Carex lanceolata, Pennisetum alopecuroides, Miacanthus sinensis ‘Gold Bar’, Phalaris arundinacea ‘Picta’ and Liriope spicata 6 species of herbaceous plants for 10 consecutive hours of plant leaf water potential observation showed that different plant leaf water potential changes in amplitude, leaf water potential, mean the big drought tolerance is stronger, the six kinds of plant leaf water potential daily mean values from big to small order as follows: Liriope spicata, Miacanthus sinensis ‘Gold Bar’, Phalaris arundinacea ‘Picta’, Carex leucochlora, Pennisetum alopecuroides, Carex lanceolata, according to leaf water potential, mean plant drought tolerance in plants is not completely consistent with that of phylogenetic relationship is far from the plant drought resistance, leaf water potential can not accurately reflect the plant drought resistance strength. On 12 kinds of ground cover plants under drought stress after 3 days, 7 days and 13 days(9am- 11am) of photosynthetic characteristics of show that increased with drought stress time, plant net photosynthetic rate showed a downward trend, which Buxus megistophylla, Buxus sinica, Berberis thunbergii, Dianthus chinensis, Sedum spectabile and Veronica didyma 6 species of net photosynthetic rate of change is not significant, net photosynthetic rate of Iris lactea var.chinensis, Hemerocallis fulva ‘Golden Doll’, Belamcanda chinensis, Liriope spicata, Carex leucochlora and Carex lanceolata six plants of 3-7 days change significantly, 7- 13 days did not change significantly.(2)At the concentration of 50% seawater stress after 30 days 18 farming is plant of salt injury index as a standard to determine the salt tolerance of strength, which Sabina vulgaris, Sedum spectabile, Sedum aizoon and Achnatherum splendens 4 kinds of plant salt injury index is 0, the strongest salt resistance; Carex leucochlora, Ligustrum×vicaryi, Buxus megistophylla and Rosa Chinensis 4 kinds of plant salt injury index of 100, the weakest tolerance to salt; the remaining 10 kinds of plant resistance to salt strength, followed by: Eragrostis spectabilis, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Belamcanda chinensis, Iris lactea var.chinensis, Hemerocallis fulva ‘Golden Doll’, Phalaris arundinacea ‘Picta’, Miacanthus sinensis ‘Gold Bar’, Pennisetum alopecuroides, Liriope spicata and Aster novi-belgii.The 14 cover plants 2 kinds of seawater concentration in the treated root shoot ratio analysis, 2 kinds of seawater concentration can promote the growth of root of Belamcanda chinensis; 25% seawater concentration can promote root growth of Sabina vulgaris and Iris lactea var.chinensis, 50% seawater concentration could inhibit the growth of their roots; strong salt resistance Sedum spectabile and Sedum aizoon root shoot ratio had a small decline compared with the control, and the salt tolerance of weak Rosa Chinensis and Carex leucochlora root shoot ratio compared to the large decline, Hemerocallis fulva ‘Golden Doll’, Phalaris arundinacea ‘Picta’, Pennisetum alopecuroides, Miacanthus sinensis ‘Gold Bar’ and Liriope spicata 7 kinds of plant under two deal, root shoot ratio lower than the control level is not completely consistent, but with the performance of salt tolerance is basically the same, that the root shoot ratio can reflect the salt tolerance of plants to a certain extent.Based on the 14 kinds of plant in 25% and 50% in two seawater stress 30 days of leaf cell membrane permeability change analysis, resistance to salt poor plant cell membrane permeability changes greatly, such as Carex leucochlora and Aster novi-belgii stronger salt resistance of plant cell membrane permeability changes are small, such as Belamcanda chinensis and Iris lactea var.chinensis; a special type of leaves of Sabina vulgaris, Rosa Chinensis, Phalaris arundinacea ‘Picta’, Sedum spectabile and Sedum aizoon 5 kinds of plant cell membrane permeability changes and plant performance are different, that the cell membrane permeability as compared to the same type of life indicators of salt tolerance in plants is strong weak, but different in different types of life the plant or leaf texture can not accurately reflect the plant salt tolerance.
