| The mutton sheep industry has been a rapidly growing agriculturally involved one which is currently developing towards large-scale, professionalization and intensification. Ergo there are a lot of breeding information that is urgent to be dealt with every day, in order to improve the efficiency of mutton sheep breeding information’s management and pick the ones with superior traits into core population, an embedded system based on wireless communication, which is mainly oriented toward lower computer’s handheld terminal and wireless communication technology, was designed according to the domestic current situation and borrowed experience from abroad.The handheld terminal consists of ARM11 core-board based on S3C6410 processor, touch screen,125KHz RFID module, wireless communication module and multi-functional baseboard. On the software part, establish cross-compiling environment under the Fedora9 system from VMware for the purpose of building a integrated embedded Linux development environment; The touchable GUI based on Qt/Embedded displays basic info, breeding info, vaccine info and history info, so the handheld terminal can collect, store, copy and upload the information mentioned above in real-time. On the part of hardware, the terminal is integrated with ARM 11 core-board, power, reset, RFID, communication module and also interface circuits of LCD,USB and SD Card. Then design the PCB of the terminal.A data communication system applied in large-scale farms was designed, consisting of a handheld terminal and upper computer. And two-way wireless communication technology under C/S mode which is oriented toward handheld terminal was also designed, ARM 11 was connected respectively to WL4432 module based on Si4432 chip through serial port with pass-through technology, to ZigBee module based on CC2530 chip through serial port with ZigBee2007 internet working protocol which is based on OSAL OS under IAR Integrated development environment, and to WiFi module and self-organized LAN formed by routers through SDIO port with Socket network programming interface technology which is based on TCP protocol under Linux OS. Also, in order to achieve the goal that the handheld terminal can text the mutton sheep information to phones, a wireless communication technology based on GSM was developed with a GPRS module connected through serial port; And the internet communication between handheld terminal and server is accomplished with Comway wireless serial server.The system was tested in lab and the farm field, results showed that the two-way wireless communication between handheld terminal and upper computer was successful. And the real-time data stored in ARM11 was exactly imported to SQL server, the system is easily handled, stable, low cost and has a bright application prospect. |
