The saline-sodic soil with different vegetation types and reclamations by different treatments were selected to study the soil physics. Phragmites australis(Cav.) Trin. ex Steud., Leymus chinensis, Chloris virgate Sw., Puccinellia distans and Suaeda glauce, were selected as they are common plant species in zone of saline-sodic soil of Songnen Plain. Sandy treatment, organic treatment, desulfurization gypsum, soil ameliorant of saline-sodic soil(Tuo Jian Yi Hao) and control study are chosen for the study. Bulk density, water infiltration rate, soil particle composition and soil compaction, etc. were sampled and calculated.The consequences indicate that the physical characters of saline-sodic soils with vegetation types are better than the bare spot, and Phragmites australis(Cav.) Trin. ex Steud. and Leymus chinensis, the soil physical properties superior to these, under Puccinellia distans, Suaeda glauca and Chloris virgate Sw. Among different reclamation treatments, the best physical character of saline-sodic soil is Tuo Jian Yi Hao treatment, then followed by organic treatment, desulfurization gypsum treatment and sandy treatment.The results conduce to set up theory and technology of germination, root growth and vegetation restoration of saline-sodic soil; In addition, the conclusions contribute to choose the amelioration of saline-sodic soil and the way of treatment.
