| In order to study the effects of bowl seedling mechanical-transplanting by 33cm row spacing, conventional blanket seedling mechanical-transplanting by 30cm and 25cm row spacing on rice yield, dry matter production, photosynthetic characteristics, plant type and rice quality, a field experiment was conducted in the test site of Yangzhou university called Huali agriculture limited company at Shiji town of Sihong county during 2013-2014 using conventional japonica rice Nanjing9108. Wuyunjing 27 with five mechanical transplant methods(33cmx 10.9cm, 33cm×12cm,30cm×12cm,25cm×12cm,25cm×10.8cm).The main results are as follows:1.The treatment of bowl seedling at plant spacing 10.9cm reached the highest yield level between the two varieties (Nanjing9108 was up to 10643.59kg/hm2,Wuyunjing27 was up to 10907.79kg/hm2),which was markedly higher than other treatments. The actual yield of bowl seedling among different machine types at the same basic seedlings showed markedly higher than conventional blanket seedling, conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 25cm was higher than at row spacing 30cm.The grain number per spike of bowl seedling was markedly higher than the conventional blanket seedlings, the bowl seedling at plant spacing 12cm was the highest, but the spike number of this treatment wasn’t enough, so its actual yield is markedly lower than conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 25cm.The spike number and the grain number per spike of conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 30cm weren’t more enough, so the actual yield of this treatment was markedly lower than other treatments. The culm-tillers at each growth period of the bowl seedling rose steady and down slowly, the ear bearing tiller percentage was markedly higher than conventional blanket seedling. The dry matter weight of population and phase accumulation at each growth period was markedly higher at plant spacing 10.9cm of bowl seedling than other treatments, the individual dry matter weight of bowl seedling was markedly higher than conventional blanket seedling.2.At jointing stage, the LAI of the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 25cm was markedly higher than at row spacing 30cm and bowl seedling among all the treatments, bowl seedling at plant spacing 10.9cm was markedly higher than the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 30cm. At the heading and mature period, the LAI of bowl seedling at plant spacing 10.9cm was the highest, the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 25cm was markedly higher than at row spacing 30cm and bowl seedling at plant spacing 10.9cm, the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 30cm was markedly lower than other treatments. Transplanting to jointing age, the photosynthetic potential of the conventional blanket seedling at the row spacing 25cm was markedly higher than at row spacing 30cm and bowl seedling; jointing to heading age, the photosynthetic potential of the conventional blanket at row spacing 25cm and plant spacing 12cm was markedly high than other treatments;the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 30cm was markedly lower than other treatments; heading to maturing age, the bowl seedling at plant spacing 10.9cm was markedly higher than other treatments. The length of top-three leaves of bowl seedling at heading stage was markedly longer than the conventional blanket seedling, the conventional blanket at row spacing 25cm and plant spacing 12cm was markedly shorter than other treatments. The basic angle of leaf and leaf drooping angle of the conventional blanket seedling was markedly higher than bowl seedling, the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 30cm was the highest.3.The processing quality of the bowl seedling at plant spacing 12cm during the two varities was the best, its brown rice percentage, milled rice percentage, head rice rate were markedly higher than other treatments, the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 30cm was the second, bowl seedling at plant spacing 10.9cm was markedly higher than the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 25cm.The chalkiness degree and chalky kernel percentage of the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 30cm was markedly lower than other treatments, bowl seedling was markedly lower than the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 25cm, the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 25cm with plant spacing 12cm was the highest. The amylase rate and protein rate of the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 25cm with plant spacing 12cm was markedly higher than other treatments, the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 25cm was markedly higher than bowl seedling, the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 30cm was markedly lower than other treatments. The gel consistency of the bowl seedling was markedly higher than the conventional blanket seedling, at the row spacing 30cm was markedly higher than at the row spacing 25cm.The peak viscosity, hot viscosity, breakdown high than bowl seedling, bowl seedling was markedly higher than at row spacing 25cm;The setback and final viscosity of the conventional blanket seedling at row spacing 30cm. Setback at row spacing 25cm was markedly higher than bowl seedling, at row spacing 30cm was the lowest; The final viscosity and the pasting temperature of all treatments didn’t have significant difference. |
