| Melon factory nursery prone to moderate growth of seedlings, leading to difficult cultivating optimum aged s ound seedlings.To solve this problem, we use three plant growth retardants(PP333ã€B9ã€CCC) separately of differ ent concentrations and processing methods on muskmelon XiMiZhou 17. For two seasons test, respectively measu red seedling plant height, stem diameter, hypocotyl length, leaf length, petiole length, root-shoot ratio, strong seedli ng index and other indicators. Considering the influence of all indexes, we sifting some kinds of reagent typeã€c oncentration of reagents and applied method for turpan age season melon factory nursery. This work provides the b asis for local melon seedling cultivation The main results were as follows:1.Soaking seed with PP333 and B9 different extent influence on melon seedling qualitysoaking seed with different concentrations of PP333 and B9, the germination potential decreased with the increase concentration of PPP333 solution. Plant height and hypocotyl length was significantly less than control. The plant b lade length and petiole length is least on the treatment of 40mg/L PP333. It is interesting that the plants have the most vane thickness and Sound Seedling Index with 60mg/L PP333. Otherwise, among the treatments, root cap rati o is maximum with 40mg/L and 80mg/L PP333. In summary, PP333 solution have a better inhibitory effect than B 9 solution on seedling’s height, hypocotyl length, petiole length, leaf size and thickness.2.Foliage treatment with PP333 and B9 different extent influence the melon seedling qualityPlant height and hypocotyl of treatment is remarkable less than contrast, under the different concentration of two kinds of retardant spray foliar treatment.among all treatments,12000mg/L B9 plays a main role. The stem thickn ess are significantly higher than control,150mg/L PP333 has the largest. Seedlings treated with150mg/L PP333 solu tion has the largest blade thickness and root cap ratio. Seedlings treated with different concentration of foliar sprayi ng PP333 solution, has a significantly higher strong seedling index than control and different concentrations of B9 solution treatment and control.3.The effect of uniconazole on muskmelon seedling qualityDifferent concentrations of uniconazole treated on seeds and substrates after sowing, seedling morphological indexes and physiological indexes have a significant impact. Two methods of processing play a different degree role on c ontrolling melon seedling plant height, increasing seedling stem diameter, reducing the hypocotyl long, increasing th e blade thickness, improving the true leaf SPAD valueã€enhance seedling root cap ratio and strong seedling inde x. After engraftment two weeks, in addition to the section Numbers and the first flower node,other indicators hav e no certain influence, but as the effect of the concentration increased, the speed of the plants to grow relatively s low (data not listed).4.The effect of different retardant treatment on muskmelon seedling quality:Plant height of seedling were separately measured 1-4 weeks after sowing. To the fourth week, under soaking treat ment of 40mg/L and 60mg/L PP333 and the leave spraying treatment of 200mg/L PP333, the suppressing effect to the height of the seedling and hypocotyl length is the most obvious. In terms of seedling of true leaf,40 mg /L and 60 mg/L PP333 solution treated with substrates after sowing leading the most significant inhibition on the growth of seedling leaves. On 60 mg/L PP333 solution with the biggest blade thickness, which also plays the stro ngest inhibitory effect on seedling petioles length.Under 60 mg/L and 40 mg/L of PP333 solution leaching process, as well as 200 mg/L of foliar spraying PP333 solution treatment, the seedling root cap ratio significantly greater t han control and other processing,12000 mg/L of B9 solution spray and foliarã€16000 mg/L of solution leaching processã€200 mg/L of foliar spraying PP333 solution processing are three most influence processing on seedling in dex in turnIn summary, In the spring test,through the analysis of all the indicators,soaking seed with 60mg/L PP333ã€foliage t reatment with 150mg/L PP333ã€soaking seed with 0.1 mg/L and 0.2 mg/L S-3307ã€soaking substrates with 0.2 mg/ L S-3307,The seedlings has best-performing of various indicators.In the autumn trial, considering seedling root cap ratio and strong seedling index that 200 mg/L of spraying PP333 solution processing is the best. |
