Based on the survey of the nutritional and medicinal value of sea cucumber nutrients, as well as its clinical value, this paper investigates the impact of sea cucumber nutrients on the gr owth of plant beans sprouts. Inspired the development and application of BR, a new plant gro wth regulator substances, we aim to explore how to create biological source plant growth regu lators for modern agriculture and agriculture food safety biological pesticides. At the same tim e the cucumber nutrients is prepared into nano-formulations based on nanotechnology. Then, i t is applied into the cultivation of bean sprouts in order to enhance their efficiency. The main f indings are as follows:1.Comparative tests between cucumber nutrients and brassinolide to verify its effect in pr omoting plant growth. Brassinolide is a natural steroidal plant growth regulator that can effect ively promote plant growth and development, improve the pant body’s activities, strength plan ts’ resistance, pesticide residues and other degradation. Previous studies have found sea cucu mbers have similar functions with brassinolide.2.Preparation and characterization of Nano-formulations cucumber nutrients. This paper uses ultrasound-emulsification method to get Nano-formulations from sea cucumber nutrients, where the surfactant is a combination of Tween-80 and sodium lauryl sulfate. The optimal conditions of the preparation process are: ultrasonic time 60 min, ultrasonic power 100 W and ultrasonic frequency 30 KHZ. The particle size of cucumber nutrients Nano formulations prepared under the above conditions were found between50to100 nm,scattered uniform, and of good stability through transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, infrared spectroscopy and analysis3.The effects of sea cucumber nutrients on several bean sprouts’ growth.(1) Appropriate concentration range(100mg~500mg/L).The optimal concentration of green beans is 150mg/L, soybeans and black beans are 200mg/L. In the appropriate concentration range is better than the original agent role of water, nano-formulations effect is obviously better than the original agent, suitable concentration range than even the growth inhibitory effect is not obvious.(2) Impact of physiological indicators.Compare with the control group, the germination rates of mung beans, soybeans and black beans are improved by 6.38%,8.58%,9.03% respectively; the germination potentials are improved by 12.16%,25.9%,28.9% respectively; the germination indexes are increased by 74.1%,68.7%,66.7%.(3) Impact of morphological indicators.At the optimum concentration, the green sprouts’ bud, bud thick, fresh weight, dry weight are increased compared with the control group by 49.2%, 31.3%, 31.8% and 16.7% respectively soybeans sprouts and black bean sprouts’ bud increased 54% and 40% respectively; crude shoots increased by 38% and 40% respectively; fresh weight increased 66.9% and 64% respectively; dry weight increased 31% and 30% respectively.(4) Impact of biochemical indicators.Including changes in soluble sugar content, calcium content, MDA content and POD activity. Compared with the control group, the sea cucumber nutrient Nano formulations under optimal concentration could improve the soluble sugar content of green bean sprouts by 49%; increase the calcium content by 43.75%; decrease the MDA content by 33.3%; improve the POD activity by 59%.While the soluble sugar,calcium content of soybeans and black bean sprouts are also increased, the MDA content are reduced and the activity of POD are increased.
