Radio frequency identification (Radio Frequency Identification, RFID) can realize the non-contact automatic identification technology, through the RF signal automatic target recognition and access to relevant information and data. Read rate is one of the key factors for RFID applications. Especially in the agricultural application read rate has a lot of influence factors. In between the RFID reader and tag in different distance, angle and rotation angle of little effect on rate of reading, RFID read rate and the read range in practical application in agriculture of uncertainty, has become a bottleneck in the technology extension.In this paper, through the no-load condition test, determination of different distance and the offset angle read rate of RFID, RFID was identified in the practical application of the rate of read and read range. Based on load determination of read range, through the experiment of potted plants were different, different distance, angle and rotation angle of the read rate of RFID, RFID in the practical application of the rate of read and read range; and determine different potted crops crown read rate impact on RFID rules. The conclusions are as follows:1) the no-load condition from the tag reader, the offset angle ranges: Distance furthest is 8m; when distance is lm, the offset angle in the range of 0°~60 °; when distance is 2m~5m, the offset angle in the range of 0 °~45 °. Carried out within the measurement range measured load potted plants, determination of tag reading distance, on the read rate when the offset angle and the label when the pot different rotation angle position.2) Potted poinsettia plants, while Jatropha, label reading distance, the offset angle and the rotation angle range: Distance furthest is 5m; when distance is lm, offset angle in the range of 0 °~60 °; distance is 2m、3m, the offset angle in the range of 0 °~45 °; distance is 4m, the bias angle in the range of 0 °~15°; distance is 5m, the offset angle in the range of 0 °; rotation angle range is 0 °~270 °(in addition to the rotation angle of 15 °offset from 4m angle of 90 °handle outside). The RFID reader reads the rate within this range of more than 93.06% (except from 4m offset angle of 15 ° rotation angle 90 °tackled).3) And measured under the same conditions, the Jatropha read rate is higher than the poinsettia read rate, but no statistically significant; the test results of RFID technology applications in agriculture provides support for the promotion.
