| Peanut is one of great important cansh crops in red soil area south of China. Peanut production has been severely repressed by sick soil resulting from long term monoculture of peanut in red field in Jiangxi. Phosphorus chemical waste solid, phosphogypsum, was investigated to alleviate the sick soil due to continuous monocropping of peanut in red soil. Mixture of phosphogypsum with chemical nitrogen, phosphate and potassium fertilizer in a different ratio were applied to peanut plots in Jiangxi Red Soil Ecology Experimental Station, China Academy of Sciences to assess their effect on nutrients of red soil and peanut yield and physiological and biochemical properties. Key results are shown as below:Under field conditions experiments with no fertilizer, an increase of peanut9.4-54.1%3.5-45.1%yield than the use of conventional chemical fertilizer was obtained and the yield in the rate of15kg of lime was increased by24.2%t. Peanut physiological traits, peanut kernel weight, plant height, were affected by the phosphogypsum compound fertilizer. on the mixed phousphogypsum fertilizer has a positive impact on the number of nodules and effective nodulation. The nutrient absorption changes, in conjunction with the soil conditions and plant growth conditions were analyzed. Special phosphogypsum fertilizer improved soil nitrogen supply and plant growth and development,,due to the phosphogypsum compound fertilizer containing available phosphorus and other nutrients to promote the growth of peanut rhizobia.In the pots conditions experiments, compaered to the treatment of no fertilizer, soil nitrogen content in the treatment of special phosphogypsum compound was increased by6.7%-60.1%, while soil nitrogen content in the traditional fertilizer treatment was increased by up to48.1%. The soil nitrogen content for different treatments was differed depending the application rate of different proportions of1:0.5>1:0.25>1:1, the highest soil available nitrogen content was found in the ratio of1:0.5of special phosphogypsum compound. The plant phosphorus in the treatment of special phosphogypsum compound fertilizer compared with the treatment of traditional fertilizer is insignificant, the greatest contribution for the plant phosphous is the treatment of the patented calcium fertilizer.,which soil available phosphorus content was positively correlated. Special phosphogypsum fertilizer can effectively increase the total potassium content of peanut perticularly treatment11with the most significant effect, almost twice higher than no fertilizer. The total plant potassium was increased by69.3%in the treatment of special phosphogypsum mixed fertilizer compared with the traditional fertilize, with the rise order of different proportions1:0.5>1:0.25>1:1.A pot experiment was used after peanut emergence from0-40day to conduct a coupled experiment of soil water-special phosphogypsum mixed fertilizer which treated relative soil water content as at90%,80%,70%,60%,50%,40%. In the treatments of90%of wet soil,50%mild drought,40%of the severe drought, the peanut leaf photosynthetic rate, the peanut leaf transpiration rate, intercellular CO2concentration and stomatal conductance were declined compared to the treatment of70%of suitable water. As the soil water content decreased, the antioxidant enzymes activities of POD, CAT, SOD in peanut leaves were increased, the biggest is treatment6, compared with treatment1(90%saturated soil water content) increased by11.18%ã€15.1%ã€6.26%, respectively, indicating peanut seedling was under water stress. To play the best role for special phosphogypsum mixed fertilizer to amend soil and promote crop growth, suitable soil water content is also very important. |
