| Eexperiments were carried out at Changji national agricultural science and TechnologyPark and the Agricultural Experiment Station, Shihezi University, China. In order to select amicrobial agent which is suited to the composting fermentation of corncob matrix andoptimize the fermentation process of organic substrate production of corncob matrix. Theeffects of three different microbial agents treatments on the physic-chemical properties ofcorncob matrix during composting fermentation and the quality of fermented organicsubstrates were studied. In addition, an experiment also was conducted to study the possibleutilization of corncob fermentation substrate as a substitution for widely using expensive peatin growth media for plug seedlings production of processing pepper. The effect of fivedifferent compound growth media which consist of corncob fermentation substrates andvermialite and perlite on the growth of processing pepper plug seedlings were studied. Theresults showed that:1, The end of fermentation, the fermentation substrate physical properties are close to theculture substrate processing requirements, EC value of the minimum processing which T1, pHapproaching neutral; T values for each treatment were lower than0.6, which process T1theminimum value, followed by T2and T3treatments;3kinds of different degrees offermentation agents can shorten the fermentation time, with T1(enzyme bacteria) the besteffect; adding different fermentation agents after treatment, to improve the fermentationprocess temperature of some help, where T1(enzyme bacteria) optimal effect.2, After fermentation agents on different cellulose degrading enzyme activity is enhanced,corncob matrix of cellulose, hemicellulose degradation rate than the control, T1best effect;three agents on lignin peroxidase increased activity, can effectively improve the corncobmatrix of lignin degradation rate, T3best effect, and was increased by21.1%-50.5%compared to the degradation rate.3,Corn cob lighter density matrix is a lightweight, retaining the role of poor. Thereforesuitable for use with other matrix compound can form good physical and chemical nature ofthe matrix model. The trial will corncob with vermiculite and perlite compounded by thedifferent proportions of each fermentation substrate complex physical and chemical propertiesare close to growing media requirements.4, In the nursery trials, different proportions of matrix processing A1and A4have ahigher dry weight and fresh weight, its seedling index was also higher, and reached a similarlevel of control, but also has a high germination rate, seedling more focused.The effects ofdifferent complex matrix of pepper seedling growth, the better performance of complexmatrix processing is: A1(corn cob: vermiculite=1:1) and A4(corn cob: vermiculite: perlite=2:1:1). |
