The change of CO2 concentration in the atmosphere can affect plant growth directly and change the composition of the plant which can deliver to insect and nutural enemy through the food chain. In this study, two CO2 levels(375 ppm VS 750 ppm) were used to study the growth and development of Nilaparvata lugens and Cyrtorhinus lividipennis. The research conclusions were fellow: 1 The life-history parameters of N.lugensElevated CO2 can significantly prolonged nymph development times of the first generation, especially prolong the 1 and 2 and 3 nymph development of N.lugens. While there was no influence on the adult longevity, survival rate, male and female rate, egg hatchability of N.lugens. The 12 th generation of BPH nymphae development period can prolonged significantly under elevated CO2, while there was no influence on each instar and another life-history parameters of N.lugens.2 The life-history parameters of C.lividipennisElevated CO2 can significantly shorten the nymph development time of the first generation of C.lividipennis, especially shortened the 4th and 5th instar development. While there were no influence on the adult longevity, survival rate, male and female rate of C.lividipennis. Elevated CO2 can significantly shorten the 8th generation of C.lividipennis nymphae development period, especially the 1st, 3rd, 5th instar development period. While there was no influence on the adult longevity and survival rate of C.lividipennis. 3 The prey ability of C.lividipennis prey on the eggs of N.lugensSignificantly higher prey ability was observed in C.lividipennis nympth on the eggs of N.lugens under elevated CO2. C.lividipennis nympth can prey higher eggs of N.lugens under elevated CO2 relative to ambient CO2. The was no influence of C.lividipennis adult on the eggs of N.lugens under elevated CO2. This research showed that elevated CO2 can prolong the BPH nymph development times, but shorten the C.lividipennis nympth development times. Also, elevated CO2 can increase the prey ability of C.lividipennis nympth on the eggs of N.lugens.The results indicated that elevated CO2 has adverse influence on BPH, while has the positive effect on prey ability of C.lividipennis on the eggs of N.lugens.
