Soil acidification caused by irrational fertilization is more and more serious and restricts the improvement of crop yield, but it shows that the application of plant nutrition conditioner can effectively improve the soil acidification. The experimental crops are peanut and ginger. The test mainly includes the control check treatment (CK), the general fertilizer treatment1 (GF1), the general fertilizer treatment 2 (GF2), plant nutrition conditioner treatment 1 (PNC1) and plant nutrition conditioner treatment 2 (PNC2). Nitrogenous, phosphate, and potash fertilizer of plant nutrition conditioner is the same as the general fertilizer. We study the influence on crop yield and quality and soil nutrient contents resulted from plant nutrition conditioner, aims to provide some theoretical basis of plant nutrition conditioner’s reasonable application and promotion. The main results of our study were summarized as follows:1. Application of plant nutrition conditioner increased soil pH significantly, but use of general fertilizer accelerated the process of soil acidification. Soil pH increased by 0.02-0.65 pH units because of plant nutrition conditioner application compared with control treatment and decreased 0.15~0.23pH unit as the use of general fertilizer in peanut crop; Soil pH increased by 0.01~0.46 pH units because of plant nutrition conditioner application compared with control treatment and decreased by 0.04-0.16 pH unit as the use of general fertilizer in ginger crop; Plant nutrition conditioner slowed down soil acidification process mainly by increasing soil exchangeable calcium and magnesium ions content compared with general fertilizer.2. The total NPK contents in plant nutrition conditioner was higher than that of control at the early stage of the plant growth, but lower than that of general fertilizer treat. As the extension of crop growth period, its content increased, which was better for crop growth.3. Different fertilization treatments resulted in different influence on peanut and ginger yield. The influence created by application of general fertilizer was of no significance in peanut but heavy in ginger. Effects on yield resulted by the application of plant nutrition conditioner was better than that of general fertilizer, among them peanut increased by 8%~ 12% and 6.48%~29.47% in ginger.4. The test research showed that:peanut kernels and ginger fruit quality could be improved significantly through applying plant nutrition conditioner. Peanut crude fat increased by 2.97%~4.77% and soluble sugar increased 8.24%~12.82%, but did not creat significant effects on the protein content resulted from the application of plant nutrition conditioner; Ginger vitamin C (VC) content increased by 26.03%~58.50% and soluble sugar increased 2.58%~9.77% compared with general fertilizer treatment.
