Influential Factors And Mechanism Study Of Tourist’ Sense Of Place In Forest Park

Currently our domestic research of tourists’ sense of place is still in early stages, and it’s solely lacking of tourists’ sense of place research of the forest tourism and forest park. This thesis takes Zhangjiajie National Forest Park as the destination, extracts the Influential factors of tourists’ sense of place through literature review and summary, constructs a measurement scale covering tourists’ perception of place and self-identify of place, then proposes the research hypotheses targeted. Then on the basis of interviews and questionnaires, it evaluates the mechanisms of sense of place and the relation of the mechanisms through factor analysis, non-parametric test analysis and correlation analysis, the finally Conclusions are as follows:First, the study divides the tourists’ sense of place into two dimensions as perception of place and self-identify of place, then mainly through tourist’ experience during the tour to measure the perception of place, and through tourists’ evaluation and acceptation after the tour to self-identify of place. The tourists perception of place is interrelated with self-identify of place.Secondly, through factor analysis, the study extracts the common factors from tourists’ perception of place covering the natural landscape, social human landscape and tourism function. It also extracts the common factors from tourists’self-identify of place covering values of place and recognition degree of place. Through the correlation analysis of all this common factors of each variable, it finds that the natural landscape factor, social human landscape factor and tourism function factor from perception of place variable are significant correlation with values of place factor and recognition degree of place factor from self-identify of place variable.Finally, through non-parametric test analysis, reaches the tourists background statistical variables, including demographic characteristics and travel behaviors, are also the important factors of perception of place and self-identify of place, these different backgrounds shows significant differences.On the base of the conclusions and combining the condition of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the actor proposes some relevant advices.
