The Lysmata amboinensis was belong to Malacostraca DecapodaHippolytidae Lysmata, a kind of hermaphrodite, cross fertilization of smallmarine ornamental shrimp. It is important to study the reproduction anddevelopmental biology of the shrimp. This experiment used tweezers hotmethod to remove the unilateral eyestalk of parent shrimp, Studied theEffects of unilateral eyestalk ablation on growth, amount of carryingeggs, hatching rate, the number of larvae, molt cycle and spawn cycle. Theresult showed that the eyestalk ablation of parent shrimp has significantlyimpact on the growing rate. During the test (126d),the experimental group1(eyestalk ablation of one parent shrimp) the parent shrimp growth to24.2±2.3mm in average length; group2(eyestalk ablation of both parentshrimp) growth to24.2±2.7mm in average length; the control group (noeyestalk ablation of both parent shrimp)growth to16.2±0.8mm(p<0.05)in average length. The eyestalk ablation of parent shrimp has significantlyimpact on the amount of carrying eggs. The amount of eggs for experimental group1,group2and group3were respectively1746.0±1.5ind/tail、1982.0±44.1ind/tail and1343.0±25.2ind/tail(p>0.05). Thenumber of larvae of the experiment group is also significantly higher thecontrol group, that were respectively1146.0±5.5ind/tail、1254.0±26.3ind/tail and699.3±7.8ind/tail. The eyestalk ablation of parent shrimp molttimes increased, were respectively12、12、11times. The spawn cycleshorted, were respectively10.8d、10.0d and11d.Using manual controlled experiment test different temperature(20,23,26,29,32℃)、 different salinity (24,27,30,33,36) and different diets(chlorella、chaetoceros、rotifer、artemia) of lysmata amboinensis larval andstudy the survival rate and growth rate. The result showed that the larvalgrowth optimum temperature was23-29℃,the best temperature was26℃.And the optimum salinity was27-33,the best living salinity was33. Thebest diet for the larval between Z1-Z2was chaetoceros, the best diet for thelarval Z3-Z6was artemia. So when the larval was Z1-Z2,we should feedpriority to chaetoceros with rotifer and artemia, when the larval wasZ3-Z6, we should feed priority to artemia with Single-celled algae toimprove the diet effects.
