Qinghai province is a sparse vegetation, desertification serious and natural conditions areharsh areas. Nuomuhong, Xiangride, Xiaochaidan, Wulan and Delingha of Caidam basin are theimportant distribution area of natural Nitraria L. But now under natural resources exploitation andthe interests of the driver, a large number of natural Nitraria L.population was damaged, affectedthe breeding seriously. We study the phenotypic diversity of natural Nitraria L., to provide thetheoretical foundation for germplasm resources preservation and genetic improvement. This studywe chose Nitraria sibirica Pall.population group and Nitraria roborowskii Pall. populationgroupas research object, after two years of field investigation in2011-2012, selected the7Nitraria sibirica Pall. population group and3Nitraria roborowskii Pall. population group,analysis its growth, leaf shape coefficient, fruiting-cyme weight, thousand-seed weight andothers,totally nine phenotypic traits. Main research results are as follows:1. Through variance analysis of phenotypic traits in natural habitat group of7Nitrariasibirica Pall.And3Nitraria roborowskii.Pall, the result showed that Nitraria sibirica Pall. inaddition to the leaf shape coefficient and the number of each sequence drupe,the rest of thecharacters in the group are significant or extremely significant difference between. And theNitraria roborowskii Pall. in addition to the leaf shape coefficient、 shape coefficient、fresh fruithundred grain weight and shape coefficient, the rest of the characters between the group hassignificant or extremely significant difference. This result showed that the variance in between iswhite stab the main part of the total phenotypic variation.2. There are the abundant genetic variation in population of Nitraria sibirica Pall.Andnitraia roborowskii Pall. it had obvious differences though synthesiaing average coefficient ofvariation of each part, and the result can be sorted as: fruit>growth> leaves>seeds, thus the seeds is more stable genetic traits.3.The result of principal component analysis showed that leaf shape coefficient, the numberof each sequence drupe, infructescence weight and shape coefficient are the main factors ofphenotypic differences in Nitraria sibirica Pall., and the thousand-seed weight, growth,fruithundred grainweight, fruiting-cyme weight,and nuclear character of shape coefficient are the mainfactor of phenotypic differences in Nitraria roborowskii Pall.4. The various phenotypic traits of Nitraria sibirica Pall.and Nitraria roborowskii.Pall has a very significant correlation.the fruit diameter, length of the nucleus, nuclear diameter, fruitlength, soluble solids content and thousand-seed weight is importangt tabletraits of Nitrariasibirica Pall.; however,length of the nucleus, nuclear diameter, thousand-seed weight, leaf width,fruit diameter and drupe number of each sequence important phenotypic traits of Nitrariaroborowskii.Pall.5. The7populations of Nitraria sibirica Pall.could be divided into3groups according to theUPGMA cluster analysis and the3populations of Nitraria roborowskii Pall.could be dividedinto2groups according tothe UPGMA cluster analysis.
