Scenario-oriented requirement analysis method is using scenario to describe the specific examples of the system to be developed. This method analyzes and describes software requirements from the user perspective. It is convenient for user and the analysts to communication and understands the system. Scenarios have become an important and effective method to capture and determine the functional requirements of software. But in theory and practice, there are also some problems, such as the management of the scenario and the vague and inconsistent describe of requirements. In this paper, the following research carried out to solve these problems.First of all, analyzes the scenario metamodel on the different definition; integrate the definitions of scenario and activity based on the research of the abstraction of scenario; proposes a new scenario metamodel based on decomposition relationship; Second, analyzes the role of scenario at every stage of the whole of requirements engineering and combine with the traditional structural method to propose a method to describe scenarios based on hierarchical. And the specific process of partition of scenario hierarchy and decompose scenarios is presented. And establish the framework of the whole life cycle of the system. Last, use the ATM system instance to verify this method. And the visual realizations of scenario description are realized.Scenario method has become a hot research topic in the method of requirements analysis. When we to describe the system scenarios, it is very important to study the abstraction level of scenario to describe requirements. The research of this paper has some theoretical significance and application value for improving software requirements management and improves the quality of software requirements.
