The remote monitoring is the development trend of the digital age, with the rapid development of network technology, remote monitoring technology and computer technology, network technology, communication technology, etc. are closely combined, it is applied in highway traffic, industrial production, medical care, security and other fields. Network based remote monitoring system has broken the time and regional restrictions, as long as there is network can realize remote monitoring.This paper takes a brick and tile factory as the research background of the integration of the monitoring system, take C# as its development tool. Through the analysis of actual requirements of monitoring the production of brick and tile factory, completed the design and application of three level monitoring systems,namely the On-site monitoring subsystem, the server subsystem and the remote monitoring system. On-site monitoring subsystem is mainly responsible for collecting industrial site data of PLC, frequency converter, servo drive and Hai Kang camera video data, and real-time monitoring the operating condition of equipment, equipment parameters and fault information, etc., and the corresponding control of equipment. Through the WCF development interface,all the data transfer to the server subsystem. Through socket receives commands sent by the remote control server subsystem; Server subsystem is mainly responsible for the management of the data, by WCF technology the interface is open to the On-site monitoring subsystem and the server subsystem, realize the real-time data transmission industrial site to the server subsystem, server subsystem transfer the data the remote monitoring subsystems required to it.Through a socket technology realizes the server subsystem and the monitoring subsystem of communication, and remote monitoring subsystem of equipment control command sent to the scene IPC through the socket; The remote monitoring system through the WCF interface to obtain the open field devices and display the data on the remote computer in real time, and sends the control command to the remote server database. The remote server through socket sends the control command to the On-site monitoring subsystem, so as to realize theremote control function of field equipment. According to the practical application of brick and tile factory, considering the influence of speed bandwidth for video transmission, and studies two kinds of transmission modes,namely, pictures and video streaming, achieve a picture and video streaming transmission application, through the test found that the video screen picture stream transmission is relatively clear, and when poor speeds, a relatively smooth video stream transmission, according to the test results, this paper puts forward the application of automatic switching method. At present, the system has been successfully applied in a brick and tile factory production line.
