Yellow River Delta Wetlands is an important part of the ecosystem of the Yellow River Mouth, it is the most extensive, the most complete and the youngest newborn wetlands in the warm temperate regions of China. Runoff and sand plays a decisive role in the wetland ecosystem in the Yellow River Mouth. Therefore starting a study about the Yellow River water sand’s impact on the current Yellow River Mouth wetland ecological and analysis about mechanism and laws behind, carrying countermeasures and suggestions for the protection of the ecological environment of the Yellow River Delta Wetlands has important scientific value. This thesis is focused on the eastern nature reserve, current Qingshuigou Channel estuary wetland research, content including:(1) the Yellow River Mouth incoming water and sand situation. After qing8 braiding-change, incoming water and sand in the Yellow River Mouth significantly reduced and in the future, there is a decreasing trend.(2) In the recent decades, the river regulation and evolution off Yellow River Mouth.(3) the Yellow River estuary wetland status, ecological environment features and existing problems of the research.(4) the Old-entrance wetlands area generally decreasing trend, the New-Entrance wetlands area generally increases first and then decreases, the total area of wetlands downwards in general tends; New-entrance wetland vegetation area first increases and then decreases, the Old-entrance wetlands vegetation area overall was a decreasing trend, the total area of wetland vegetation is generally decreasing.(5) The Yellow River water and sediment has a very important impact on the Yellow River Mouth wetland ecosystem, water and sediment leads abundance of wetland ecology. Therefore, the Yellow River water and sediment are positive factors on the ecological quality of the wetlands in the Yellow River mouth, and also decisive factors.(6)Showed up some countermeasures to maintain benign development of wetland ecosystem in the Yellow River Mouth. Yellow River water and sediment of the wetland ecosystem is an emerging issue, is also a very complex subject, relying on one or two years of study is not possible to draw a very valuable results, hence more long-term research and exploration are necessary.
