In industrial production activities, it often caused contradiction in pursuit of product differentiation and low production costs. Towards product manufacturers, the difficulty of the operation and management has been increasing as their intensify contradictions.Car-O-Liner entered the Chinese automobile maintenance industry in2004. Most of its major clients are high-end brand Auto Makers and “4S store”. The major customer requirements are small batch and multiple variety production. In order to meet the constantly promoting demand of customer and adapt to the Chinese increasingly fierce competition market, Car-O-Liner has to break through the existing mode of production, looking for a kind of production style to meet both the requirement of product differentiation and mode of low production costs as much as possible, therefore the lean production management mode should be introduced.In research process of this paper, COT assembly line should be chosed as the research object, through mapping the present value of value flow chart method to find out the main problems existing in the production line; Through drawing the future value stream mapping and establishing "U" type line to improve production and reduce the value-added time; Through analysing work measurement method and calculating production beat to eliminate the bottleneck link in production line and waste process, thereby realizing the balance of the production line and calculating the takt time; Through introducing kanban management to make pull producion style to be achieved and make the production demand closely integrated with the order;Through picking up 5S management tools and TPM management tools to ensure the sucessful implementation of lean production.Through lean production management effect evaluation, Lean production has been achieved in COT assembly line of Car-O-Liner company. Value-added time should be shortened by 14 minutes, bottleneck procdure should be solved, line balance rate should be increased by 29.2%, on time delivery rate reaches to 90%. At the same time, after adopting lean production management, waste and production cost should also be greatly reduced, the delivery cycle should be shortened, production management level and enterprise competitiveness should be improved and increased.It will lay the solid foundation for Car-O-Liner company to spread Lean production managnet after which should be sucessfuly applied in COT assembly lines.
