As a new kind of environmentally friendly green energy, lithium-ion batteries has many advantages, such as high energy density, long life, wide operating temperature range, low self-discharge, long cycle life, non- pollution, etc. It has occupied the vast majority of the battery market of consumer electronics products. Foldable tablet PCs and smart phones will become the mainstream of the next generation of electronic products, but using flexible electronic products, there must be a corresponding foldable battery. In this thesis, we carried out relevant research work preparation and performance testing of flexible lithium ion battery by using different encapsulation methods.In this paper, using thermal evaporation method using a coating machine separately prepared flexible copper collector and flexible aluminized collector. Successfully prepared flexible lithium-ion battery anode and cathode by using a doctor blade molding method, after many experiments, we find a suitable solution to join PVDF volume of 0.5ml, after several experiments, we obtain a more suitable wet film applicator coating thickness of 200 um.In this paper using one or more of the PDMS, AB glue, Laminator to encapsulate flexible lithium-ion batteries, it was found a very good package of flexible lithium-ion batteries that is AB glue and laminator, and make a voltage characteristics test to the prepared flexible lithium-ion battery and found that the preparation of flexible lithium-ion battery has a certain capacity, and can be continuously lit LED. Making a charge-discharge cycle performance test by using blue electric battery tester, using origin software to draw according to the obtained data of the test of the experimental, it has found that initial charge capacity was 177.3 mAh per gram, initial discharge capacity of 335.3 mAh per gram, close to the theoretical value. Preparation of flexible lithium-ion battery has a good charge and discharge characteristics, and consistent with the theory.The end of the paper is the conclusion, there is still much room for improvement to this dissertation work by changing the experimental conditions, constantly groping experiments, preparing flexible lithium-ion batteries will be more perfect and obtain good performance of charge-discharge cycle.
