Steel arch structure has good mechanical propert ies, and the arch axis curve and the horizontal thrust of the foot make its sect ion mainly co mpressed, which improves material ut ilizat ion efficiency. But the steel arch structure has two disadvantages. First, under asymmetric loads, the bearing capacit y and st iffness are great ly decreased with arch bending mo ment increas ing. Second, under a full span load the bearing capacit y is sensit ive to the ant isymmetric initial geo metric imperfect ions. In order to improve the stat ic performance and the bearing capacit y and st iffness o f the arch structure, a new t ype o f cable arch structure is proposed based on concept o f beam string structure, which can achieve larger span.At present, there are many researches on schemes of cable, stress analysis and structure optimizat ion design o f the real web arch structure. But the research on mechanical propert ies of the latt ice t ype steel arch structure is less. In order to improve the bearing capacit y and stiffness and mechanical propert ies o f spat ial truss structure, this paper does some research mainly on the fo llowing aspects o f cross cable prestressed truss arch structure:The truss arch is chosen as the research object. Ordinary arch and cable arch models with span o f 100 m are built. The maximum deflect ion, horizontal support react ion, peak value o f member internal force and distribut ion o f internal force, the stabilit y performance o f the structure under full span load and half span load are analyzed with ut ilizing ANSYS. Finally, the best arrangement for the cable arch structure is selected.The elastic stabilit y o f cable arch structure and pure arch structure under full span load and half span load is analyzed and co mpared. The buckling modes o f pure arch and cable arch are co mpared. In addit ion, the effect o f rise span rat io, truss sect ion size, init ial imperfect ions, cable prestress, cable node posit ion, the material nonlinearit y on the stabilit y o f cable arch. T he mechanical propert ies and the failure mechanism o f the structure is researched.The out-plane stabilit y of the cross cable prestressed spat ial truss arch structure is studied. The out-plane stabilit y with st iffness variat ion o f the support, the influence of the number o f lateral bracing, layout locat ion on the stabilit y behavior of the structure is studied. The model of parallel cable arch structure is built. The out-plane stabilit y is researched considering the number of the cable arch, the number o f lateral truss and the sect ion width of truss arch.
