Along with the rapid development of national economy and the power market gra dually formed, power quality problems in many countries has caused by electric powe r sector and the user’s attention, and adopt reasonable measures to improve power qua lity assurance is first, the correct detection. Based on this point, this paper based on t he wavelet transform of power quality disturbance detection method is studied. For a t ypical power quality signal MATLAB software simulation analysis, the results are satis fied, this method is proved the feasibility and practicality.First, a brief introduction power quality and wavelet theory basis. Secondly, the a pplication of wavelet transformation.fuzzy transient electric voltage sag, quality, voltage jumpstart, voltage, transient, instantaneous pulse vibration test, according to the princi ple of wavelet de-noising signals and noise. Finally, based on the wavelet transform o f the steady-state power quality disturbance signal harmonic and harmonics, using thre e kinds of wavelet function to the simulation analysis.Simulation results show that the transient electric energy quality inspection, wavel et transform to distinguish the singularity is very good. But for the steady state power quality for different signal.Comparing with FFT,wavelet transform not only distinguish different frequent signals from fundamental wave,also can obtain the point of the beg inning.
