21st century is the era of information technology, people’s lives are filled with a large amount of data, big data, data room to bring an inflatable increased speed the development of cloud computing. Power quality data room information related to data security. Currently, IDC (Internet Data Center) room is the mains power supply through the UPS rectifier, inverter power to the load of the link. The power supply needs to go through several power conversion, resulting in energy loss and the complex structure of the power supply system so that the failure rate is greatly increased.This paper describes the features of the current structure of the power supply, the use of UPS redundant power supply for the current IDC room supply, power supply current analysis of the defects in the reliability of power supply, the harmonic influence, expansion and so on. Secondly, it discusses the feasibility of IDC room server load DC power supply and other uses. Again, proposed the use of high voltage DC power supply (HVDC) IDC room new power supply, the power supply is also applied photovoltaic electricity as a direct complement to the energy supply. Finally, a brief introduction of the development trend of recent years IDC room supply mode.Paper focuses on the characteristics and working principle of high voltage DC power supply determine the AC/DC conversion, insulation test implementation.
