Taking cable-stayed bridge with continuous rigid frame structure on Wulong River from Fuzhou to Pingtan railway for study, calculating and analyzing the static and dynamic characteristics of the bridge.Firstly, a brief introduction of the development of continuous rigid frame bridge,cable stayed bridge and able-stayed bridge with continuous rigid frame structure.Then the project background,the bridge design and site conditions of Wulong River Bridge are described.Using the Midas software to establish the bridge model and static analysis,calculating the force acts of the bridge subjected to constant load,live load,braking power,wind load and other load combinations.In dynamic, vibration characteristics analysis is conducted by Midas software and calculating the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the bridge.Then using the response spectrum method and time history analysis method respectively for Wulong River Bridge occurred earthquake and rare earthquake response analysis to verify the seismic performance of the structure and put forward some suggestions on seismic design of structures.Thus,the author has a more comprehensive understanding of static and dynamic characteristics of continuous rigid frame-cable stayed system.
