The high-speed urbanization advancement caused city’s high-rise buildings and all kinds of environment problem are protruding increasingly. At present, the tridimensional afforestation has been recognized as a solution for the shortage of green land area in urban environment. It can recover the ecological balance of city rapidly. At the same time, in the highly tridimensional modern city, there comes a large number of idle construction environment, such as roofs,walls, balcony and so on, which gives the tridimensional greening in building environment the development advantage. This paper investigates the current situation of the application of new technology in the tridimensional green building environment and make a comprehensive and in-depth research of tridimensional greening in urban construction to improve the service life, reduce energy consumption and recycling of water resources etc.. And then put forward the concept of "Symbiotic Tridimensional Green", and summarized it’s types, elements and technical measures. Then investigated current situation of tridimensional greening application in building environment of Chengdu City and design for library in Sichuan Agricultural Uniersity, Chengdu campus, which were tried to explore the most effective way of harmonious coexistence between architecture and environment, look for new ideas to solve the ecological environment problems in city. Conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)This paper put forward the concept of symbiotic tridimensional greening, which is aimed at building environment and mainly used in roofs, building facade, interior and surrounding environment of building. It’s more impeccable and pay more attention to the ecological function and architecture the symbiotic environment, including the recycling of rainwater, solar and wind energy etc..(2)This paper analyzed and discussed the symbiotic tridimensional green types and elements of design. The method is studied respectively for four position on the the building environment, namely the roofs, building facade, interior and surrounding environment. ①For symbiotic roof greening, according to the roof structure and bearing size, it can be divided into 3 types, Simple type, Extensive type and Intensive type. And summed up roof’s greening and planting structure of different types of symbiosis. ②For building facade, it mainly includes the exterior wall and balcony. According to the difference of the technology. The symbiotic exterior wall greening can be divided as types of Bracket, Container and Paving; the symbiotic balcony greening can be divided as Reserved Planting Groove and Movable Planting Groove. ③For symbiotic indoor greening, because it has horizontal and vertical space that makes it can apply various technical measuresof symbiotic roof greening and symbiotic building facade greening. However, according to the indoor lighting and the use of the crowd, select the appropriate shade, no pest, no pungent plant species.④For the symbiotic building surrounding greening, according to the size of green space of buildings and their adjacent surrounding, it can be divided as types of Large Numbers of Planting and Rain Garden.(3)Through literature consult and site visit etc., the application of tridimensional greening in downtown of Chengdu city was investigated. The specific conclusions are as follows:The survey results show that Chengdu City did well in green roof and balcony greening, quite a few had tend to symbiosis.In the scope of this research, among the roof with greening,47% belong to extensive type,24% belong to intensive type.42% of balcony greening used partial symbiotic way such as reserved planting groove and movable plant groove. While building facade greening and indoor greening exist many deficiencies,67% of exterior wall used traditional types, only 33% of them adopted the container type and the paving type. Most of indoor greening were used in horizontal space, just 24% of them adopted new forms, such as bracket type, container type and paving type. Surrounding greening of building did well,47% of buildings had greening coverage in its adjacent surroundings, and green ground contact buildings are more closely in residential interior environment.(4) The Chengdu Campus Library of Sichuan Agricultural Uniersity of the symbiotic tridimensional greening design with "Garden Library" as the theme, the top floor of the library, third floor, exterior and interior walls, part of its border around the green ecological garden design effect, and the whole building environment design of the rainwater collecting and recycling system continuous integral. A variety of native plants and solar panels and other ecological energy-saving measures is used at the same time, the library and the natural environment more harmonious blend together.
