Asphalt had been widely used in the field of engineering of roads, airports because of its good performance. Serious phenomenon of destruction had appeared on asphalt pavement in the early stage due to increased volume of traffic, improving vehicle speed and traffic channelization. Many researches were conducted by domestic and foreign scholars which were about the visco-elastic response of bituminous pavement under load of moving vehicles. At present, some achievements of the asphalt visco-elastic model in theory had been made. But its difficulty in the experimental and theoretical aspects of mathematics were not been overcome and these models describing the visco-elastic material properties or visco-elastic behavior were significant constraints and shortcomings. Therefore it was worth studying on suitable visco-elastic model of asphalt. At first, the research on visco-elastic behavior was carried out by visco-elastic model theoretical analysis based on visco-elastic constitutive equation model.Secondly, comprehensive analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of various asphalt creep test methods was conducted and uniaxial static creep test was selected as the test method, describing the test principle. Uniaxial creep test specimens were made using a rotary compaction molding method. AC-13 and SMA-13 were product with 70 # asphalt, SBS modified asphalt and rubber modified asphalt. And uniaxial creep tests were conducted in the same load level (0.7MPa), at different temperatures (40℃,50℃, 55℃). Test results show that with rising temperatures, asphalt rheological time reduced deformation increased.Thirdly, dynamic modulus of different asphalt mixtures could be sure through dynamic modulus master curve with appropriate visco-elastic models. The visco-elastic parameters were gotten used MATLAB mathematical software fitting asphalt axial strain curves. Finally, curves of different visco-elastic model were present using finite element software 3D model to simulate the effect of the various stages of asphalt strain. Applicability of different visco-elastic models could be confirmed by compared simulated and measured values.
