Permanent magnetic couplings (PMC) is one of the governor to coupling transmission, it can rely on to achieve non-contact power to achieve transmission, it depends on permanent magnet driving disk and a driven disk to make attraction and repulsion. Non-contact transmission of power is realized like that. In some special applications, magnetic coupling transmission will replace some form of mechanical transmission, and can achieve a complete separation of active element and the driven element, which is applied to the broader industry. Permanent magnetic coupling belongs to rotating machinery, rotating machinery will generate strong aerodynanmic noise at run time. Nowadays people has not been fully studied on the magnetic coupling of the aerodynamic noise source and noise reduction. Considering the influence of sound solid heat coupling of the noise of permanent magnet coupling, by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation is studied in this paper.Using the disc type adjustable speed permanent magnet coupling as the research object, established a permanent magnet coupling and sound insulation cover all smooth geometric model, and the use of unstructured tetrahedral grids are grid adaptability. The governing equations for describing the three-dimensional steady and permanent internal magnetic coupling of the unsteady flow field calculation of permanent magnet couplings are internal complex flow field using RNG model, turbulence model, and the spatial and time domain discrete. Setting reasonable boundary conditions, using the SIMPLE algorithm and PISO algorithm to realize the steady and unsteady pressure velocity coupling.The simulation of permanent magnet coupling calculation model is established, and the division of the computational domain. Using different types of grid mesh to the model and computational domain, and set the reasonable boundary type. Using RNG turbulence model for flow field simulation on the model of air flow, and analysis the flow characteristic of permanent magnet coupling. Using the large eddy simulation (LES) turbulence model of non steady state for the noise value simulation of permanent magnet coupling.Using sound insulation cover as a noise reduction scheme for permanent magnet coupling, and make structure design for the sound insulation cover. Make permanent magnet coupling modal analysis for the sound insulation cover, and structure optimization for the resonance characteristics. Radiation effect of sound insulation cover plate was analyzed in theory. Analysising the effect of sound insulation cover solid heat coupling on the magnetic coupling of sound insulation, and analysising the fluid velocity, temperature on the transmission loss.
