As a kind of high temperature / ultra-high temperture heat resistant structural material, C/C composites have gradually become the first choice for high temperature zone of the aircraft, such as a reentry vehicle, high speed aircraft and other aerospace vehicles. However, The impact event will not be inevitable in the installation, transportation, launch and flight of aircraft, especially the growing number of space debris is a huge security risks to the craft of thermal protection structure which be made by C/C material, The impact resistance of C/C materials in different temperatures, and the thermal insulation performance of the damage structure has become a problem that must be considered in the design of thermal protection structure. To solve the high-speed crash issue in the high temperature environment, we will plan to do simulation studies, experiment testing and damage evaluation test.Firstly we design the high-speed crash numerical methods considering the high- temperature factors, and we analyze surface damage dynamic process and high-speed impact damage law by this method. Meanwhile the influence of thermal stress on the damage of the material and the thermal performance degradation of the damage thermal protective structure are mainly analyzed. Finally, we investigate the target thickness influence on C/C material damage phenomenon.Secondly based on the numerical simulation, we design the high speed impact experiments device in the high temperature environment with the traditional two-stage light gas gun technology, We focus on the velocity and temperature factors influence on the C/C material damage law by the projectile impact experiment. Otherwise we carry out experimental impact factors influence analysis by the orthogonal experimental method, and obtain the target damage law by projectile diameter, velocity, angle of incidence and the target plate temperature. The projectile hit target moment of the high temperature has been captured by the high-speed photography.Finally we conduct the thermal and mechanical performance tests after C/C material damage, and quantitatively analyze the mechanical properties degradation which influence by the high temperature factor, damage hole and internal damage. And we design the thermal protection experiment structure including the damage C/C material panel, and prove the rationality of the thermal protection structure by high temperature gas heating experiment. At the same time, we quantitatively analyze the structure heat insulation performance by different levels of damage area through the internal temperature distribution.
