In recent years, construction formwork accidents happen frequently, it not only resulted in significant casualties and property losses countries, but also seriously affected the normal life and social stability of the residents. Through the risk factors analysis of formwork engineering accident, the paper which is based on the theory of formwork engineering and safety evaluation established a safety evaluation model, combined with the operation conditions of risk evaluation method and analytic hierarchy process to evaluate the evaluation model, in order to complete a comprehensive ranking of the evaluation index for providing a scientific basis for safety management and formulating the corresponding safety measures. The feasibility and rationality of the optimized method are illustrated through a case study and the evaluation results are compared between optimized method and non-optimized method. The optimized method has the practical value in the safety evaluation.On the basis of theoretical research, supporting software of formwork has been developed. The software features include automatic construction scheme formulation, mechanics calculation, safety evaluation and so on to provide support for template engineering.
