Dual galvanometer laser scanning system is an important part of laser aircraft docking guide system, and the interface board is the key part in scanning system. The interface board can acquire scanning data and process data. The application case of dual galvanometer laser scanning system in aircraft docking guide system is few at home. So it’s necessary to study it.The method of creating a system on chip with ARM and FPGA is put forward based on the functional requirement of dual galvanometer laser scanning system interface board. Xilinx ZYNQ 7020 is a good chip highly integrated the two cores. The method takes the full advantages of controlling ability and math arithmetic capability of ARM, logic capability and great capability in calculations of FPGA. This method makes the development period shorter, the cost and power consumption lower. What’s more, a customized communication protocol is used between the interface board and principal computer to realize efficient data transmission. The main content of this thesis is as follow.The first part of this thesis is to describe the constitution and operating principle of dual galvanometer laser scanning system, followed by the function requirement of scanning system interface board. Three solutions are discussed, about their advantages and disadvantages. Finally a solution with software and hardware design is put forward at last.Then referring to the solution, the details are designed including the logic design and software design. In the logic design part, the main contents are the principle and design methods of frequency demultiplication, scanning and distance measurement, motor positioning and motor control. In the software design part, the main contents are the programs of uart communication, instruction analysis and control, the original point demarcation and calibration and walking set. In this part, the working methods of laser distance measurement, realization of trigonometric function on FPGA and the algorithm of linear regression are studied.The study of the customized communication protocol and control instructions used between interface board and principle computer and the protocol between PS and PL is necessary in this thesis. Then each instruction and program realization on ZYNQ 7020 is designed in detail.At last, each instruction function on interface board is verified in simulation environment. The simulation results show that the method discussed can satisfy the requirement of the scanning system. Disadvantages and remote research directions of this system are given at the end of this thesis.This thesis shows the whole design of interface board which suits to dual galvanometer laser scanning system. All of the functions expected are realized. This thesis is useful to the design and implement of aircraft docking guide system and the expansion of dual galvanometer laser scanning system. It’s also useful to popularization and application of aircraft docking guide system and takes inspiration to the study of this system.
