Based on agricultural waste biomass of rice husk as raw material,alkali activation prepared rice husk-based activated carbon, Revolvedaround industrialization facing practical problems of rice husk-basedactivated carbon, studying the effect of acid treatment condition on ricehusk-based activated carbon containing inorganic ingredients, therelationship carbide particle size and rice husk-based activated carbonparticle size with the performance of rice husk-based activated carbon,industrial grade activator and reagent grade activator effect onperformance of activated carbon, designed an industrial process plan.Studies have shown that hydrochloric acid can effectively removesome metallic oxide in activated carbon, after hydrochloric acid treated,activated carbon had the fastest current response capacity, with lowEquivalent Series Resistance (ESR). By KOH activator prepared activated carbon after hydrochloric acid treatment,6M KOH as the electrolyte,5mV s-1sweep speed, charge and discharge curves showed a goodsymmetry, the typical properties of electric double-layer capacitors, undercurrent density15A g-1compared with0.5A g-1, after hydrochloric acidtreated activated carbon, the value of capacitance fell by only10%, andnot processed by hydrochloric acid carbon, the value of capacitance fellby only29%, showed that after hydrochloric acid treated activated carbonhad a good rate capability.By activation filter, the particle size of activated carbon had nosignificant effect on specific capacitance, while carbide particle sizegreatly influenced on the properties of activated carbon material, carbideparticle size is74μm of activated carbon, there was a lot ofmicro-mesoporous structure, had a very high specific surface area andspecific capacitance value.Compared industrial level NaOH as Activator got activated carbonwith analysis pure KOH as Activator, specific capacitance was greaterthan200F g-1, met requirements of on-board supercapacitors activatedcarbon material, specific capacitance reduced was unlikely, and costgreatly reduced; so selected industrial level NaOH as Activator activationgot rice husk-based activated carbon was feasible, and designed anindustrialization process program, discussed feasibility ofindustrialization prospects.
