Our country is a national shortage of water rcsources.and water is one of the key factors of China’snational economic development. In recent years, the contradiction between the lack of improvement inliving standards and water resources is increasing. The southern of Xinjiang is water shortage areas. Sincethe founding of our country.the region have been built more than a dozen of plain reservoirs to alleviatethis problem. This reservoir has played an irreplaceable role in The southenr region’s economicdevelopment, regional stability and the improvement of people’s living standard. Nowadays, the annualevaporation of Duolang Reservoir in South Xinjiang is2500mm, accounting for45%of the total capacity. Therefore’, its becoming an important task to solve the shortage of water in South Xinjiang that erducingthe invalid moisture evaporation and improving the storage capacity of reservoir. For this problem, it willbe helpful to use evaporation inhibitors (surfactant) on the surface of water to restrain effectively theinvalid evaporation. The nature of evaporation inhibitors is surfactant which can lay an insolublemonomolecular film on the surface of water. It can restrain water exposed directly in the air, so to restrainihe evaporation. Nowadays, the research on evaporation inhibitors is only on the stage of experiment.Laboratory experiments part of the study of monolayer resistance evaporation method of preparationof reagents, blocking evaporation efficiency, physical and chemical properties And screened for themonolayer resistance evaporation preparation according to the climatic characteristics of the basin. Studyselection of fatty alcohol as the main raw material for the preparation of different alcohols were separatefrom each other in different proportions and complex, namely the preparation of a homogeneous andheterogeneous inhibitor inhibitor, detect the resistance evaporation eiffciency monolayer resistanceevaporation preparations and active life, the surface of the current formulation, surface tension, oxygenpermeability, spreadability and other physical and chemical properties were measured. Through the abovetest, the conclusion is:(1)the performance of the same propotrions of heterogeneous formulations generally better thanliomogeneous preparations.(2)Mixture resistive evaporation rates of short-chain alcohols and long-chain alcohols, long-chain alcoholssingle formulation(3)the best performance of cetyl alcohol十n-propanol complex formulations and octadecanol+n-propanolcomplex formulations, these two formulations to meet the basic requirements of the test cell. Plot expeirments under natural environmental conditions on the indicators monolayer resistanceevaporation preparations tested, screened wind resistance, self-healing, anti-solar radiation and other moreprominent monolayer resistance evaporation agents, and inhibitors Best Filming measurement research. Inorder to overcome the resistance evaporation monolayer preparation influenced by waves, can not bedirectly applied to the disadvantage of a large area of the surface of the water, the subject uses floating girdmeasures to abate the impact of their waves, and in the test c^l! results were verified. Plot experiments tothe following conclusions:(1)defined the solar radiation, wind speed, rainfall and other natural environments of the various stages ofthe film’s status for the practical application of resistive evaporation technique provides a reference.(2)proved the cetyl alcohol+n-propanol heterogeneous agents and octadecanol+optimum meteringla2ying propanol heterogeneous preparations were3.50ml/2m and3.83ml/m.(3)at an average wind speed1.5m/s and3.0m/s in both cases, the use of floating grid method caneffectively reduce storm damage to the monolayer, so monolayer resistance evaporation efficiency issignificantly improved.
