The construction of the civil air defense is one of the most important parts of national defense construction and the modern city construction. The transport system based on the vehicles will be the main way to transport urgent communication equipments. The urgent communication equipments installed on vehicles improve the performances of the urgent communication system in flexibility,efficiency and safety. This subject is for the requirements of a civil air defense department to design a square cabin which is on a urgent communication and command vehicle. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, the research background is analyzedd and the development status at home and abroad are described.Secondly, the general structural design of square cabin which is on a urgent communication and command vehicle was completed. The design has three aspects, the choice of vehicle,design requirements of square cabin, design of modifications and manufacturing.Thirdly,the structure,material properties,processing and forming method of composite plate are discussed here.Then the model of composite large plateis are simplified with the related theory of Laminate in Compound Material Mechanics.The characteristics, stress-strain relation,combination of internal force and moment of laminated plates are analysised in detail.Fourthly,composite plate under bending and torsion condition is equivalent to the sheet of same thickness with the same pending and torsion stiffness,and calculate the equivalent elastic modulus and equivalent poisson’s ratio of the sandwich composite board,lastly meshing and establishment of finite element model.Fifthly,confirming the load borne by the cabin,statics analysis and calculation of the cabin,And we get the deformation and stress distribution of shelter under the load.Sixthly,by the shelter modal analysis,calculated former six level natural frequencies and mode shapes.From the results of the modal analysis,vibrarion focused on the front of shelter,both sides of the roof,bqth sides of front and rear plate,the maximum amplitude near the window at the left side of plate,the amplitude reaches3.3579mm.Then,the harmonic response analysis of shelter. Select six points of the former six level modal shape figure appears maximum amplitude position analyzed, get the selecte d point on the corresponding displacement-frequency curve. Finally,summarize the former work, while discusses the inadequate of design and research of this paper.
