Steel tube plate warehouse because it give full play to the characteristics of steelstructure high strength lightweight, easy to shorten the construction period, and excellentperformance, it is widely used. In the assembly type steel silos set the vertical stiffeners, thevertical stiffening rib as wall only vertical components not only bear the weight of thestructure, but also bear the vertical friction grain. The code for design of steel silos(GB50322-2011)increased the bulk vertical friction of particle on the silo wall with the lateralpressure increases, and the lateral pressure is related to the depth of silo. In order to make fulluse of materials, the stiffening rib in engineering usually broadly in accordance with thestrength requirements of the proportion of the thickness, height and order section decreases,which leads to order column stability checking and industrial plant the stiffener is very similarto that in. But the vertical load change the industrial workshop of frame column, so thedifference lies in the order number. However, the current code for design of steel structures(GB50017-2003) are not calculated length coefficient is three order and three order aboveorder column method, plane cross-section vertical stiffening rib which makes the steel silo inthe stability design became very difficult.In view of this situation, this method and finite element calculation through thecombination of theoretical analysis, the stiffening rib calculation length coefficient wereanalyzed, and some useful results are obtained:1、The development status and the vertical stiffening rib steel silos, the stability of ordertype column calculation method, combined with a practical engineering method ofdetermining the calculation length coefficient is obtained for6order column the section, andthrough the calculation length coefficient calculation length coefficient of column that othersegments.2、Taking soybean grain steel silo design a domestic grain storage equipment engineeringcompany as an example, the stability of the vertical stiffening rib of the steel silo in theoriginal design calculation of rationality examination.Empirical methods compared with thegeneral engineering design to determine the6order of post calculating length coefficient and the gap between calculated length coefficient.
