The application of liquid-solid two-phase flow across almost all fields of engineering, such as coal, ore and other water transport, the transportation of river sediment, oil drilling in the drilling of dandruff, and the transportation of the oil hydraulic fracturing proppant, measuring the flow parameters on line is of great significance in the production process for industrial safety control, economic and efficient production, however, at the flow of liquid and solid two-phase mixture,each phase exists some complex mechanical properties and there is interaction between each phase, so measureing the flow parameters on line is difficult.This paper bases on a principle of ultrasonic wave, through measuring the sedimentation velocity by attenuation of the ultrasonic wave and measuring concentration of the solid phase by correlation method to design real-time on line measurements system. This paper mainly included:(1) Do in-depth research on ultrasonic transducers, using different sizes of piezoelectric ceramic to design ultrasonic transducer, and done a lot of experiments, analysis experimental data to determine the appropriate shape and size.(2) Re-designed experimental device, the existing device can adjust the horizontal and vertical distance of the sensors.(3) Replace instrumentation amplifier in receiving circuit, reducing the signal voltage loss.(4) In order to reduce the time delay bias error, accomplished pre-delay sampling by C language(5) Accomplished regular sampleing data by switching the two channel, in order to minish the impact of Cross-Talking on the correlation measurement.(6) Analyze detailedly the principle of cross-correlation algorithm and the soft Implementation on the pc and the lower computer.(7)Through a large number of repeated experiments, analysis the relationship between the sampling frequency, integration time, firing frequency,other parameters and the correlation measurements.
