With the rapidly development of modem military technology, modern war becomesinformatization, the power of controlling information is one of the key factors to succeedin war. In information confrontation, communication side and jamming side both aim tojam enemy’s communication and ensure own communication, if jamming side wants todestroy enemy’s communication, it needs to use efficient jamming strategy and jammingpattern, whereas communication side wants to guarantee own normal communication, itneeds strong anti-jamming communication system.Joint Tactical Information Distribution System is a communication part of Link16thatis on active duty in the U.S. military. JTIDS is a coordinated system of communication、navigation、command identification, its features is large capacity and high rate, stronganti-jamming, low intercept probability and time division multiple access architecture,various anti-reconnaissance and anti-jamming measures are used to JTIDS: cyclicredundancy check, Reed-Solomon codes, interleaving, direct sequence spread spectrum,fast frequency hopping, time hopping and minimum shift keying modulation. JTIDS caneffectively improve the cooperative engagement capability of land, sea and air forces onthe battlefield so that the attack is the most threatening.In this thesis, the development and present research situation of jamming about JTIDSare first introduced and the architecture and key technology of JTIDS are analyzed, thenbased on the theory of jamming of wireless communication, some of the conventionaljamming and high power microwave jamming are introduced, and then, the main modelsof data link and jamming model of JTIDS are established. When these jamming model areestablished, several special jamming pattern are put forward: multi-tone frequencysweeping jamming, gauss white noise barrage jamming, radio frequency noise barragejamming and high power microwave jamming. These jamming’s special feature is that spotjamming can be used to single frequency point and broad-band barrage jamming can be used to multi frequency point. These jamming and Pseudo-Noise code MSK modulationjamming and multi-tone jamming are added into the model of data link of JTIDS forsimulation together, the bit error rate is performance index, by comparison and analysis ofjamming effectiveness, then the conclusion is that radio frequency noise barrage jammingand radio frequency noise high power microwave jamming can implement very effectivejamming on JTIDS.
