Our country is vast,which is rich in water resources. For reasonable exploitation of water resources, it can bring huge benefits to the whole society and national economy, and safeguard the energy supply of the social and economic development. Water resource is the most important part of energy exploitation in china.China is extraordinarily prone to earthquakes. The earthquake disaster has strong destructive effect on hydraulic structures. It not only will cause huge economic losses, affecting the normal production and life of local residents, but also may cause unimaginable casualties.According to the needs of a variety of functions, diversion structure, water conveyance structure and release structure are set up in a water conservancy project.The appropriate intake is built in these buildings header.Intake tower is an important component of water inlet, and its the body structure, boundary conditions and load situation are very complex. Under the seismic load, dynamic characteristic of intake and stress distribution are very complex.And the seismic performance and stability are significant to the whole project design of disaster prevention.In this paper the intake tower of Baihetan Hydropower Station was 3d simulated using finite element software Ansys for the anti-seismic numerical calculation and reinforcement design of intake tower. This paper mainly includes the following aspects:(1)The sensitivity analysis of parting the hole on the intake tower.There are two kinds of schemes-the hole of intake tower (Stake vent 0+003m) being apart of structure joints and not. Make a comparative analysis of stress and displacement results of two models in typical static condition and dynamic condition, to determine the optimal scheme.(2) ANSYS is used to calculate the stress of intake tower of linear elasticity. Analyse and evaluate the displacement and stress of the intake tower structure. Get the relative deformation between the arc gate slot and the support beam of the arc door in different conditions. Evaluate the eismic safety of concrete tower body.(3) According to the linear static and dynamic calculation results, stress figure method is used for structural reinforcement design.
