Serious energy shortages and unreasonable energy structure had cause serious environmental crisis in China. The use of new energy is a better way to solve Chinese energy crisis. Due to the advantages of safety, environment and inherent fusion fuel resources richness, fusion energy is considered to be one of humankind’s most ideal clean energy. Type of Tokamak fusion device is mainly for fusion device in the world today. The study of the magnetic confinement fusion of China also began. Plasma research institute of Chinese academy of sciences has built some Tokamak fusion experiment equipment and research systems, participated in the international thermonuclear fusion test reactor planning and research. Planning for the future in china to build the steady state burning Tokamak reactor experiment and Chinese magnetic confinement fusion demonstration reactor, thus achieving pure fusion energy. Chinese fusion reactor experiment (CFETR) is put forward after ITER China into the stage of substantial construction. For the commercial purpose of Tokamak fusion is realized to achieve the process of the power generation process, the blanket is one of the key parts. The blanket part of fusion has a high requirement in structural material. Every country which participating in building ITER puts forward the concept of different cladding countries, through the experiment in ITER device to verify the test blanket. Putting forward the cold helium cooled lithium lead double blanket, helium cooled solid cladding structure concept design in China.According to the situation of domestic research on blanket structure, design an experiment blanket module, are used to demonstrate and verify electromagnetic and thermal hydraulics of Chinese CFETR concept. Processing and manufacturing process of the blanket module were studied in This article. Material of experiment blanket module structure is low activation ferritic/martensitic steel, before the actual processing using 3161 steel processed pre-research.Proccssing technology research main content and conclusion: the overall processing scheme of blanket module choice first welding u-shaped piece with the cover up and down and back, finally carries on the inside and outside wall of the first edition of welding.U first wall molding experiments can be repeatedly and thermoforming von berg systeme closer to size requirements.First wall U molding simulation analysis for the U shape choose punching machine and the springback prediction provides basis.The first wall is choosing the way of HIP welding and the rest of the parts processing choose TIG welding.Overall welding forming experiment result, when welding u-shaped piece with the cover up and down and back,the deformation is bigger. need to take some measures to offset before welding or reduce welding deformation.Weld sealing experiment result shows that the structure of the obtained by TIG welding sealing is good. The first wall must add special materials when HIP welding in breeding zone.Weld NDT test and welding parts and mechanical performance test shows weld defects not melt and bite edge, but the weld mechanical properties is good.Material metallographic experiment to determine the quality of the weld and weld change rules of the organization.
