With the increasingly widespread use of aircraft, it has been extremely important to improve the aircraft performance at a high speed. Under current circumstance, bird impact still can’t be ignored, and attracts more and more public attention, thus comes the regulations of the China civil aircraft airworthiness of bird impact, which make it clear that an aircraft must possess certain anti-bird strike function. Based on some bird impact experimental data and the Finite Element Analysis research method, this article aimed to have a study on the performance of the windshield and then how to improve the whole flight security.In the first part, a general review of the domestic and foreign research on birds trikes is done to summarize the behavior characteristics of bird strikes and the research methods on it. Then from the decoupling solution and the coupling solution two aspects, the development of the two solutions both in home and abroad, as well as their advantages and disadvantages are narrated respectively. And finally the coupling solution was chosen as the research method of this paper, it is concluded that the SPH method is more suitable for the high-speed bird striking research.In the second part, parameters of bird constitutive model are obtained from experimental results of bird impact on an aluminum plate, which means to obtain parameters of bird by using parameter inversion method. This method firstly screens parameters by orthogonal design of experimental method, then optimize these screened parameters by adaptive response surface method.In the third part, the structure of airplane windshield is modeled by optimized results of parameter inversion.In the fourth part, nonlinear explicit method is utilized to optimize the structure size of airplane windshield. Minimization of the quality of the windshield structure is used as objective function to obtain better energy absorption, in order to protect the pilot.
