Reinforced concrete column-steel beam (RCS) has both the advantages of steel andconcrete composite frame. It has been widely used in all kinds of building structure forits excellent overall performance and economic applicability. Currently, the research ofdomestic and overseas for the composite joint has been relatively mature. But theoverall seismic performance of this kind structure system is rarely lack of systematicstudy, the finite element method has been used for RCS composite frame overallseismic performance in this paper, Mainly study the axial compression ratio, bendingmoment magnification coefficient influence law on the seismic behavior of this kind ofcomposite structure system and put forward proposal values of the axial compressionratio and bending moment magnification coefficient under different seismic grade. Themain contents including:When the seismic fortification intensity is6degrees (seismic grade level4),7degrees (seismic grade level3),8degrees (seismic grade level2),9degrees (seismicgrade level), four typical three-dimensional RCS composite frame were been designedaccording to the design and existing codes respectively. Then take out one typical cross,In the proportion of change column’s steel consumption according to the specificationcorresponding aseismic grade and the reinforcement results of PKPM structure designsoftware. The bending moment magnification coefficient was set0.8to2.2, respectively. Finally the category of the rarely met earthquake elastic-plastic time history analysis beon the plane frame of different bending moment magnification coefficient represents thecorresponding field. Under different bending moment magnification coefficient thefailure mode, Interlayer displacement angle and vertex displacement time history curve, etc are obtained. Summarize the data distribution and statistical results. On the basisabove, give the internal force adjustment coefficient suggestion under different seismicgrade reference RCS composite frame. When the seismic fortification intensity is6degrees (seismic grade level4),7degrees (seismic grade level3),8degrees (seismic grade level2),9degrees (seismicgrade level),four typical one story and one span RCS composite frame were beendesigned according to the design and existing codes respectively. At the top of the beamimpose on axial stress on behalf of the corresponding axial compression ratio. The axialcompression ratio are setted to0.06to1.0between seven different values, low axialreciprocating load simulation through the open source earthquake simulation softwareOpenSees. The hysteretic curve, skeleton curve characteristic value of bearing capacityand ductility of the results, etc are obtained. the upper limit value of axial compressionratio suggest reference value have been proposed considering ductility, bearing capacityalong with the change of axial compression ratio. Finally, a seismic grade8degrees level2engineering practice combining with thetwo reasonable suggestion value of the bending moment magnification coefficient andaxial compression ratio limit, four typical two-story and six-span plane RCS compositeframe are finished according to the existing design codes and specifications. Throughthe Pushover and earthquake elastic-plastic time history analysis method, The capacitycurve, layer displacement curve and so on,different parameters are been studied toverify the rationality of the suggested parameter values.
