The paper reviews the history and current development condition of engineeringprojects risk management theory, introduces the background and research significanceof writing the paper, explains the main content and structure of the paper research andanalyzes the research method of project risk management firstly. Secondly, the papermakes an analysis of engineering project management and project risk management.The paper systematically introduces the distinguishment, evaluation, analysis ofengineering project risk management theory and the theory and method ofcountermeasures. The paper chooses practical cases to analyze the problems of costrisk management of high-power locomotives overhaul bases in Tianjin and makesdistinguishment, evaluation, analysis of high-power locomotives overhaul basesprojects in Tianjin through analytic hierarchy process and points out how to preventand cope with the various risks appearing in construction projects.On the premise of construction projects risk management model and takinghigh-power locomotives overhaul bases in Tianjin as starting point of research, thepaper puts forward some specific countermeasures and methods for constructionprojects risks, which will have certain practical guidance of improving riskmanagement conscious and level of construction projects.
