Nature condition is hard in southwest of china which is one of the most seriousgeological disaster areas. With the massive development of the southwest hydropowerproject will change the balance of the existing geological conditions and trigger newlandslide disasters. Risk of landslide hazard is one of the hot research landslide hazard, landslide hazard factor is determinants in the study of landslide risk. Nowadays, due tolack of quantitative understanding for the theoretical understanding of the landslide andthe various elements of the role played by the landslide. so the establishment of landsliderisk factor system there are certain difficulties. The water level is changing over spaceand time, have different effects on the stability of the landslide, is not seen in theliterature to study the risk of landslide disaster factor as the water level. As a Wudongdereservoir example, research methods Bank Landslide risk assessment and provide atheoretical basis for the southwest large reservoir bank landslide hazard prediction andprevention.Firstly, on the base of collection of data and field investigation, analysising thedistribution characteristics of landslide geological hazards and the basic characteristicsof single landslide of Wudongde reservoir. A clear genetic mechanism of BankLandslide hazard points and the occurrence of birth characteristics.Secondly, establishing the assessment indicator system of prone and vulnerabilityevaluation, and the index system classification table of Wudongde Reservoir. Andproposing standardized quantitative method of various indicators and risk assessmentmethodology for monomer landslide. Calculating evaluation index weights by theanalytic hierarchy, evaluation and zoning of prone and vulnerability of landslidedisaster by the use of extension theoryThen, the use of semi-quantitative analysis method of Dai et al that citing researchof Morgan et al, combined with of regional characteristics prone and vulnerability, underthe platform of GIS spatial analysis functions on the Bank Landslide risk assessment andzoning, final risk assessment results into high risk, medium risk, low risk, low risk four. Finally, Based on the results of the centrifuge model test and numerical simulationanalysis, revealing changes in water level induced landslide hazard, and then the waterlevel will be as the dynamic factor of landslide-prone. At the same time it can analysisthe possibility of instability of reservoir bank landslide hazard landslide in the course ofreservoir operation, and achieve a dynamic risk zoning of reservoir bank landslidedisaster.
