The development of the high-grade asphalt concrete road surface at the moment faces both the environment pollution and the resource constraints problems. On the environment pollution, a plenty of the scientific research had been taken for cutting down the Carbon dioxide emissions. They had made some progress in this filed, but From the resource constraints point of view, the cost of asphalt pavement had not been cut down significantly in the project because of the additives or the worries of the compaction degree.The pavement performance of asphalt mixture is influenced by many factors. At present, there is no research on that the mixing method how effect the pavement performances of asphalt mix. Professor Karl Gunnar Ohlson firstly study on this and succeeded in inventing the KGO flowing mixing method based on the particles technology and rheology. It can reduce the asphalt content,the mixing temperature and improve the road service life. Then,the probolems of the highway faced will be relieve at some extent.After material investigation, according to t mixing test plan, we mixed the asphalt concrete of AC, SMA, SAC three kinds of the gradation types, different maximum normal size by conventional method and KGO flow mixing method. Then make the standard Marshall specimens, test volume index (bulk density, air voids, mineral aggregate-collapse, asphalt saturation). According to the documents, we judged whether the mixing flow method is suitable or not for the different gradation type.This paper choose one gradation type and analysed its volume index, compacting curve and property parameters, refined the flow mixing method and adjusted the asphalt content by the the orthogonal experiment and auxiliary test. At last, this paper recommended best flow mixing plan and the content of asphalt to this specific gradation.This paper made a simple performance evaluation to the recommended flow mixing method and the combination of the production of each scheme asphalt mixture, including Marshall test, rutting test, and freeze-thaw splitting test. Then it analyzed each performance index change with different mixing time of three gears material. The conclusion is that water stability performance of the recommend best flow mixing plan and the content of asphalt combination is excellent, but the high temperature stability is not good as conventional method. And it needs to be studied further.
