The stress dynamic adjustment caused by deep mine and energy accumulation and dissipation is main reason of engineering disasters. At present, domestic and international researcher focuses on aspects of abutment pressure distribution for the rock stress field, however lacks of studying on the three-dimensional stress path and the stress directions caused by mining. In this paper, systematically studied the nearfield three-dimensional principal stress path and the principal stress rotation and energy distribution evolution laws during the progressive advancement of a roadway face and mining face by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, the main results are as follows:(1)Based on strain softening model, using FLAC3 D finite difference numerical simulation software, we established a roadway excavation and mining model. The simulation results of abutment pressure distribution is consistent with the measured results, which verified the correctness of the numerical model.(2)Based on three-dimensional numerical model, the paper using Fish programming language calculate roof, floor and roadway wall rock’s principal stress components during roadway excavation and mining, systematic analysis of the principal stress evolution of different position at roadway with advancing mining process. We get six different deep disturbance surrounding rock typical principal stress evolutionary path.(3)Based on the principal stress rotation formulas and three-dimensional numerical model, the paper using Python programming language calculate the azimuth and dip of principal stress directions. With utilization equal-angle Ulf projection, we systematically analysis the principal stress directions evolution of different position at roadway with advancing mining process. We get four different deep disturbance surrounding rock typical principal stress directions evolution.(4)With the elastic strain energy formula, we wrote the elastic strain energy calculation’s program of surrounding rock, after that embedded it into the roadway excavation and mining numerical simulation model. The paper systematically studied on the roadway excavation and mining evolution laws of energy field.
