Based on the development contradiction of tertiary recovery tertiary recovery in GuDao oilfield, and the experiment of block off treatment, the new plugging(water/ polymer solution) technology was researched. According to the problem of dissolving rate slow and dissolve imperfect for Polyacrylamide solid, the method of replaced with Polyacrylamide Emulsion was proposed.Paper introduced a new cross-linked gel, which composed with polyacrylamide emulsion and prepolymerized resin. Through a series of test with Gudao reservoir conditions, the crosslinking system had high plugging rate, selectivity and good anti-eroding capability. In view of the high permeability and heterogeneity of Gudao reservoir, injection pore volume and injection rate parameters were optimized. The experimental results showed that the injection volume was controlled in 0.3PV to 0.5PV. Multi-pipe parallel displacement test showed that lower injection rate was better shut-off for high layer, lower damage for low permeability layer. This technology was used in 19 oil wells in Gudao oilfield. Average injection volume was 300 m3 per well. The shut-off effect was significant. The polymer concentration of production fluid was reduced from 1416mg/L to 133.7mg/L. The cumulative increased oil was 9982 t.
