Reservoirs in upper part of Guantao Formation entered into the high water content production stage. Relatively sparse well network and one development project lead to a series problem, such as high single well controlled reserves, low production rate and contradiction of injection and production rate, which restrict the development of marine oilfield.Based on the analysis and evaluation of original development effect of Chengdao oilfield, the contradictions and potentials existed in block, interlayer and plane are analyzed in this paper. From the research of adjusting old development technology, tracking adjustment techniques and drilling technology supporting technology research, the combination of subdivision two-three layer system and the infilled well pattern development can be achieved. Old wells are owned by the upper formation and four-point method irregular area of injection-production patterns are still used. In the lower formation, new wells are deployed and the well pattern is adjusted to five-point method well network. Their well spacing is about 300 m, injection-production ratio is 1:1. When the pressure is restored to 11.5MPa, keep it and continue to mining. The developed technology policy of horizontal well and branch horizontal well is adopted, formed a set of strata adjustment technology system, which is suitable for offshore oilfield development. It can effectively improve the overall development effect of Chengdao oilfield.
