In this paper, based on the analysis of Xing twelve block water polymer flooding together actual situation.The static and dynamic characteristics of the Xing twelve blocks is briefly introduced.Static features include geological survey, reservoir characteristics, reservoir fluid properties. Dynamic characteristics introduce the block mining. Then, the mathematical model of Xing twelve block is established, three dimensional three phase mathematical model and its algorithm are presented. The main mechanism of oil displacement is briefly described in polymer flooding, the characteristics of oil reservoir suitable for polymer flooding are summarized. The mathematical model of polymer flooding is established, and the finite difference method is used to solve the mode.Numerical simulation studies on the Xing twelve block by using water flooding model, the mesh of the test area is divided.To construct the structure model, phase control attribute model. On the basis of this, the rough model of the geological model is made. After static and dynamic data reorganization, the historical fitting is carried out.Numerical simulation study shows that the use of small layer reserves of twelve area is not uniform, among them, the use of the Pu I3 oil layer was the highest.The recovery degree of the Pu I1-2 oil reservoir is 34.45%, which is lower than the average level of the simulated area, and there was a certain development potential. At last, the model of I1-3 oil displacement in the test area is established, numerical simulation study on the development scheme of water polymer flooding under different injection timing, injection concentration, polymer dosage and different injection rate. Analysis of the above results, the final optimization of the polymer injection concentration of 900mg/L, injection rate of 810mg/L PV, polymer injection rate of 0.14PV/a, water injection rate of 0.16PV/a is the best program. And the results of previous fit laboratory experiments.
